In 1999, a group of Molino residents met in a private home with the intent of forming a historical society to represent the middle or "north-end" of Escambia County, Florida.  After a series of meetings, the Molino Mid-County Historical Society was incorporated on January 1, 2000.  Papers were filed and it also became a 501(c)(3) organization.  The purpose of the group is to search for and preserve historical items.  Monthly meetings are held with historical presentations and programs highlighting the gatherings.  Tours have formed for all who wanted to attend and learn about historical sites such as sawmills, old cemeteries and brickyards, as well as sites of early churches and schools.

We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM at the Molino Community Center (aka old Molino School), 6450 Highway 95A-N, Molino, FL 32577.
